The radar-based Progressive Safe System (PSS) provides an effective alternative to an AI camera solution, providing the tools needed to enhance driver visibility and eliminate avoidable collisions with vulnerable road users. It uses intelligent sensors and radar technology to achieve Blind Spot Information System (BSIS) and Moving Off Information System (MOIS) requirements.
Our AI radar solution combines 4 standard forward-facing sensors, with 2 AI sensors – located at the front corner and the side of the cab – and a 77 GHz radar. This delivers the most comprehensive radar-based solution available, which achieves full compliance of the latest Direct Vision Standard (DVS) update.
